The demand for Rioja continues to be seemingly insatiable!
This leading family- owned company, founded in 1861, sources all their wines
from the Rioja Alavesa, considered to be one of the best areas in the Rioja region.
They own 650 hectares, which provide 50% of their total needs and own some 45000
oak barrels for the traditional ageing process of all top Rioja wines.
Predominately Tempranillo with the balance being small percentages of Graciano
and Mazuelo. Matured for 25–30 months in American oak barrels before a minimum
of 2 years in the bottle. Mature velvety-smooth in the mouth and with great complexity.
Finished in a “frosted bottle” with traditional wire covering.
